After extensive development work we are pleased to announce the launch of economy tuning for Petrol engines. This once Diesel confined ‘golden gem’ has now been released to fans of petrol engines. With gains of 5-10% economy on a wide range of petrol engines, now is the time to see if we can remap your petrol car for better economy.<\/p>\n

Remapping your petrol engine for economy will still see gains in power, sharper throttle response and a smoother power delivery, while saving fuel at the same time.<\/p>\n

We are currently updating the website to list petrol engines which are able to be economy tuned, however if you’re keen to start saving please call us on 01795 342006 or email info@jrtuning.co.uk and a member of the technical team will be pleased to help.<\/p>\n

So why economy remap?

This little box plugs into your car and allows you to switch between Standard, Performance and Economy programmes. Towing a heavy trailer or caravan and need maximum power.. switch to performance. Going on a long motorway drive or pottering around locally… switch back to economy, letting the kids drive?… select standard mode! Then off for a\u00a0track day, select performance again.
